I disagree with that. The new age punter, many of them Australian,
and the ones that aren't are mimicking what they do, with the rollout, booming punt, those things don't check up and get down easily. If that thing's going to hit inside the 10 on the fly, it's going to make its way through the end zone, because of their line drive nature.
Most of the problems I see, for all teams, are with the ones that hit on the 20, and keep rolling and get downed deep. These things get longer roles now, and it's imperative that you get in front of it and get it stopped. Fair catching it deep is just putting yourself into a hole.
